Commercial Awareness #1

This will be the first post of my new series regarding commercial awareness. Stepping into university made me realise how important this actually is (it was stressed upon quite a fair bit, I even attended a talk about it) and I figured writing weekly blogposts about it might help stop me from slacking from staying on top of current affairs, in particular, the commercial side of news. I am interested in this so I hope I don't bore you with it - perhaps this could be a way for you to (partially) keep up to date too!
