New Chapter Outfit Ideas

When I was younger (so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in anyway), I always wanted to dress freely without restrictions of uniforms, just as seen on television. I realise now that as college is rolling around, uniforms may be easier for lazier days. However, I am excited that I can wear whatever I feel, though my goal is always smart casual but never sloppy. It was easier for my brother as he always dressed smart and it was super easy just pairing a different colour collar shirt with pants each day. Though I may follow that concept briefly for certain days, I still want clothes to not be an issue but still look prim and proper all together.

Here's a few ideas that perhaps you can get inspired from or maybe even suggest some looks for me! I may repeat these looks, which is completely alright, but adding a few variations here and there.

I will add more ideas and looks along the way!

Look One

This look is very effortless, yet has a hint of class to it. I teamed together an iconic red maroon skort that has features that flare on its own, with a simple white crop top  that has a white-on-white flowery fringe to it. For shoes, I chose to wear my classic black ballerina flats and it went perfectly with my black purse (depending on the occasion; whether I carry the purse or my black bag pack). The gold details tied the whole look together.

This look is absolutely comfortable, which is perfect especially when don't have to worry about what you're wearing. I didn't accessories too much; just my silver watch with hoop earrings. I feel like this skort is perfect to wear with any top ranging from basic colours to collared shirts. Smart casual, just the way I like it.

Look Two

Very simple and very comfortable one again.

Look Three

What I like to call, boss lady.

Look Four

Button ups are always the smart and easy way out!

Look Five

Other easy looks

A smart collared shirt or dress should do the trick too!

With love,

Cheryl
