Not away, In stay, Holiday

I find it hard to differentiate the difference between holidays and breaks sometimes, just because I'm having such a good time. The gap between the first week and the second week of my internship was a four day weekend (read about my internship: here). I felt as if I lived life to the fullest and I fell in love with that concept all together.

ps. don't be fooled, I spent a solid 10 minutes on that title. I had some spare time during my internship so I was basically shuffling words around.

Saturday

My dad has this thing where adventure may well possibly be his middle name. In my eyes, he loves trying our new foods and going new places, thus inspiring me constantly with his adventures. We heard about this breakfast place (B.T) where my brother coincidentally brought up the night before so my parents, grandma and I tried it out (my brother couldn't wake up in time). It was located in a reinvented area. The food was super creative, I enjoyed their plating and mixtures all together. There were a few cute photo spots and many people all around.

My entire family and I then brought my puppy to his grooming (we tried out a new place even though it was further away). Then, stopped by a Bread and Fruit place so that my brother could have his brunch. Then we picked my pup up and headed back for a rest. Dinner was at the artsy mall we often venture to at the General Food Place followed by the ice cream! (Ice cream in a row, I know!)

Sunday

Nostalgic breakfasts is what I like to call when we head to this breakfast place in the mall nearby. I've been going to this diner (C.) and mall (1U) ever since I was a little girl and we're very familiar around there so it's a nice feeling. Taking it easy, enjoying it fully. We even popped by a famous desert place we heard people mention; it was all "masterchef" tarts and deserts.

Dinner was Italian (Preggo). Super delicious, super chilled. Good conversations, good company.

Monday

We stopped by another mall (Pavilion), popping by Dolce and Gabanna as requested by my mum. I loved seeing this rising brand charm us with their creativity. The adventure bug of my father sticked once again, stopping by two places for brunch/breakfast! We had two small pancakes (one sweet, one savoury), followed by a small bowl of Wan Tan Mee to share at the next restaurant (mak chee noodle). We've been to this mall a billion times but never have we been to that part of the mall. My mum even got a cake to share and I got some goji-berries.

Once we came home, I blogged for a bit then slept for a bit as I wasn't feeling to well,  followed by waking up to go for a run. We ended the ever so lovely day at the artsy mall at the general food place with some ice cream once again!

Tuesday

We went to the mall (KLCC) and stopped by a coffee place we haven't been to in ages. We did some shopping after that, I managed to pick up a new school bag as the old one which got me through high school was absolutely giving way (the strap was collapsing and in my mind it was like a volcano ready to erupt). Rushing from place to place, my dad and I waited at a Juice place (Boost) for my mum, then stopping by the shopping mall, followed by a hawker store for some newly introduced Wan Tan Mee by my mum's friend.

After arriving home, a spring clean bug dusted the minds of my entire family as we worked together to clean up the entirety of the study room. I waved goodbye to stacks and stacks of books and past papers. Though it took us our evening, we ended the day with happy tummys filled with mouth watering food at our grown-to-love Thai food place.

Though I felt as if the weekend flew by without me realising, I had such a wonderful time. I love venturing to my favourite spots around town. I didn't manage to do so in the first half of the year due to exams and I'm glad I got to do it again, I guess? Haha. I hope you live life the way you want to and do things that flutter your mind with joy.

With love,

Cheryl
