Celebrate Good Times

Just like the song "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang, it's important to celebrate the best things in life. I get really excited and enjoy looking forward to things, I feel like it makes life more fulfilling, you know? The day after my internship ended (I know, these blogposts are all stringing together, one after another, event after event! Just how I love them), I had one of the loveliest weekends with my favourite people.

Saturday was just a day filled with love, really. It was my brother's birthday 19th birthday and I think I was more excited than he was. We had dim sum for breakfast, as requested by the birthday boy himself. Then, we went to one of our favourite desert place, which happened to be rather special indeed because in a way we were being guinea pigs for a new restaurant!

I then spent the afternoon going through old photos of my brother and I, making collages and cute edited pictures. My best friend who just came back from Japan gifted me the cutest Mickey Mouse biscuits from Disneyland, eeeeep. Before I knew it, the evening has showered upon us as we got ready for lovely dinner at our favourite Italian place (Yeah, we went there for father's day too!). I had great time, chatting away, trying to ignore the cheeky sleeves on my playsuit that I held together with bobby pins as it was too long, getting help from my best friend. I also had a taste of pink champagne and it was lovely.

The next morning I had a nice lie in as I was feeling quite tired. When I finally got ready, I headed out for brunch with my dad at our favourite artsy mall and we had a lovely time together. We had a dish called "Honeymoon in Greece", our favourite, along with a watermelon pressed juice.

For dinner, I accompanied my dad to a open house, seeing some of my old colleagues from the internship. I wore a red flowery sundress, with a simple day old makeup I did in the morning. We also picked up one of the directors of the company, who was one of my colleague's parents who were lovely and complimented the way I looked. We didn't have much, nor did we stay for too long so we decided to pop by our usual "healthy" restaurant where I had an acai bowl and another pressed juice.

With love,

Cheryl
