"Don't run away, dear."

I still get flashbacks from these vivid memories that I had booked away ages ago. The subtlety of it creeps in and slowly destructs me without having me realise until late. Chills would run up and down my spine, not leaving me alone, until I brush away these memories.

I think the only way to ever be over it completely is to gain closure. But closure is so vague, what is closure? What type of closure works best? I don't think there's an actual answer for these questions simply because it just depends.

Sometimes, the best thing to gain closure is to face it, and don't run away. Other times, it's best to gain closure without yourself.
