2016 Goals

It's currently 12:21am and I'm inspired to write something. You see, I haven't been writing on this blog for quite a while now and that saddens me, it saddens me greatly. One of my goals of 2016 (Happy New Year, by the way!) is to absolutely write more because it feels incredible to write, but ofter difficult to find motivation to. 2015 was a pretty packed year for me, and I wished I could have documented my year more on this blog because it was no doubt one of my favourite years of my life so far (despite a few lows, of course) and I definitely don't want to regret that in 2016 again, so therefore I'll be working on my little blog more. I'll perhaps write a blogpost on a summary of 2015 in the near future.

I want my future blog posts to be content and well... interesting. However, I feel like I want to write just as a way to express myself and write about what I love, so I'll try my best to do both. I get inspired in the early hours of the day and therefore, I've got some pretty ideas for blogposts (if I manage to find the time to write it all down).

I think I rambled a little bit more that I should in that introduction so I'm just going to leave you with a bunch of goals that I'm actually going to try and keep to, and perhaps add on along the way. Who knows, maybe you'll get inspired after reading them (I get inspired by the littlest things and maybe you will, too).

2016 Goals:

  • Improve of my stamina; swim and exercise more (push myself and set new limits)
  • Eat more vegetables and perhaps go vegan? (Or try to, at least)
  • Discover more aspects of myself
  • Read more books and hopefully discover more that leaves a helpful stigma on me; makes me attached to the book and teaches me something that could help me out in life
  • Continue learning more instruments and making music
  • Never. Ever. Stop. Working. Hard. (Or slack off)
  • Don't get peer pressured into doing something that really isn't worth it
  • Think before you react
  • Never stop being kind to people. Always be kind to people. (Even if they really don't deserve it)
  • Stop biting my nails
  • Stop drowning in my whirlwind of thoughts
  • Handle my bad days better and remain positive
  • Don't get attached or consumed by people or things that will control me in a negative way

I could go on, but I think I'll stop here. I'll probably add on to that list when I think of something good. Okay, on that note, I'll see you in my next blog post, if you actually decide to read it, that is.

Thanks for actually taking time out of your life to read this, hope it was somehow worth it. Happy 2016 and here's to another year of connecting the dots and figuring out life one piece at a time, hopefully having it collide all together at the end. Make this year one of your bests.
