I've always felt that human kind is the worst at handling change. Though we grow to understand change (or don't) we learn to deal with it either way. Anyway, this year's Chinese New Year was very different for me! I didn't venture back to my dad's hometown this year, like I do annually, to see my favourite Aunty who makes me laugh endlessly. I was upset, for a while, but then I realised this was one of the most special Chinese New Year! I spent so much time together with my immediate family and it was quality time. I got to spend time with my best friend as well.
Here's a little photo diary! I went to dinner at my favourite Italian place for new year eve, wearing a relatively daring two toned orange dress. On Chinese New Year day itself, I wore a maroon pink dress with a lip colour that matched perfectly! We had Chinese food, then went to watch La la land which was wonderful! Clearly I was happy to receive a few Ang Pows, though I look like a 6 year old child! In the evening we went to a fushion food place where I wore a lovely black velvet with mesh dress.
With love,
Cheryl
